These terms cover your use of Joybox — the website at joyboxlabs.com and the games on its subdomains (together, the "Service"), operated by Joybox Labs. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Using the Service

Joybox games are provided free for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may play them, install them, and share your results. You agree not to misuse the Service — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer or scrape it at scale, cheat leaderboards, or use it in any unlawful way.

No account required

You can play anonymously. If you choose to create an optional Joybox account (an email magic-link), you're responsible for keeping access to that email secure. You can sign out at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account data (see the Privacy Policy).

Purchases

Some games offer optional purchases — cosmetic themes, a Remove-Ads upgrade, and the in-game "Prisms" currency. Purchases are processed by our payment provider; we don't store your card details. Digital items are delivered to your device (and synced to your account if you're signed in). Because these are digital goods delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion. Prisms have no cash value and can't be transferred or redeemed for money.

Advertising

The Service is partly supported by third-party advertising. Ads are served by providers such as Google, who may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. The Remove-Ads upgrade disables in-game banner ads on your device.

Intellectual property

The games, their names, artwork, and code are owned by Joybox Labs and protected by applicable law. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or content beyond ordinary personal use of the Service.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it running and fun, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joybox Labs isn't liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
