Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Joybox Labs ("we", "us") handles information across joyboxlabs.com and our games, including PRISMA (prisma.joyboxlabs.com) (together, the "Sites"). We keep data collection to a minimum: you do not need an account to play.

Information we collect

• On-device game data. Your progress, stats, streaks, settings, in-game currency, and purchases are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) on your device. We don't receive this data.
• Leaderboard data (optional). If you choose to submit a score in a game with a leaderboard, we store your chosen 3-letter initials, your result (e.g. number of guesses and time), and a randomly generated, anonymous device identifier. This contains no name, email, or other personal identifier. This data is processed by our backend provider, Supabase.
• Purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your purchase entitlements are recorded locally on your device.
• Advertising & technical data. Our advertising partner (Google) and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, device/browser type, and cookie identifiers, as described below.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads on the Sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our Sites or other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

We also use localStorage (a cookie-like browser storage) strictly to save your game progress and preferences on your device.

How we use information

We use the limited information above to run the games, save your progress, power leaderboards, process purchases, show ads that keep the games free, and keep the Sites secure and working. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• Opt out of personalized ads via the links above.

• Block cookies in your browser settings (some features may not work).

Children

The Sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
