PRISMA is a daily logic puzzle: a hidden sequence of colored gems that you crack through deduction. If you've enjoyed Wordle's once-a-day rhythm and Mastermind's deductive depth, PRISMA sits right between them — reimagined in color.

Every day there is one hidden code: a sequence of color gems drawn from a small palette, the same puzzle for everyone in the world. Colors can repeat, so this is genuine deduction rather than memorization. Your job is to reproduce the exact sequence — the right colors in the right order — within a limited number of guesses.
How feedback works
After each guess, every tile tells you how close that color is, Wordle-style but duplicate-aware:
- Locked — correct color in the correct position (a solid gem with a ring).
- Glowing — that color is in the code, but in a different position.
- Faded — that color isn't in the hidden code at all.
Duplicate handling matters: if the code contains a color once but you guess it twice, only one of your tiles will be credited (the better-placed one), so the feedback never double-counts. Reading that carefully is the key to fast solves.
A worked example
Say the hidden code is Red · Red · Cyan · Gold and you guess Red · Cyan · Cyan · Violet. You'd see: the first Red is Locked; your first Cyan is Glowing (cyan exists, wrong spot); your second Cyan is Locked; Violet is Faded. From that one row you already know red and cyan are both in, you've pinned cyan's position, and violet is out — plenty to plan a decisive next guess.
Strategy tips
- Open wide. Spend your first guess discovering which colors are present rather than chasing positions — information first, precision later.
- Trust the count. Because feedback is duplicate-aware, the number of Locked + Glowing tiles tells you how many of a color truly appear.
- Lock, then rotate. Once a gem is Locked, keep it fixed and permute the Glowing colors into untested positions.
- Mind repeats. A palette with repeats means "all unique" is just one of many possibilities — don't assume each color appears once.
- Hard Mode. Turn it on to force yourself to reuse every revealed clue — tougher, and far more satisfying.
Daily puzzle, streaks & sharing
The daily puzzle is generated deterministically from the date, so everyone plays the same board and can compare. Solving keeps your streak alive, earns Prisms (the in-game currency for themes and hints), and produces a spoiler-free grid of colored squares you can share — it shows how you did without giving the answer away. There's also a global leaderboard and a difficulty that escalates across the week, crossword-style.
Accessibility
PRISMA ships a colorblind mode that adds a distinct shape to every gem (so you never rely on color alone), full keyboard play, reduced-motion support, and screen-reader labels. It's free, installable as an app, and plays offline.
Is PRISMA free?
Yes — every daily puzzle is free, with no account required. Optional themes and a Remove-Ads upgrade are the only paid extras, and they never affect the puzzle.
Is the daily puzzle the same for everyone?
Yes. It's seeded from the date, so the whole world gets the identical board each day — that's what makes comparing scores fair.
Do colors repeat in the code?
They can. Repeats are what turn PRISMA into real deduction instead of simple elimination.
Can I keep playing after the daily?
